Resources for Saving More + Living Better
Your best tool in the war against debt is a budget.
you’ll hear me say this phrase repeatedly… because it’s true! If you’re new to budgeting, I highly recommend starting off by using the envelope system for cash-only budgeting. This is the best way to hold yourself accountable to your budget. You can create your own system with a few spare envelopes and a sturdy rubber band. Or, this cash wallet system is classy and functional.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t include this incredibly effective book by Dave Ramsey. This book contains everything you need to get out of debt, save money, and give generously.
For an excellent education on what the bible says about money, and how it can be used for God’s glory, Money, Possessions, and Eternity by Randy Alcorn is a great resource.
